When a Crossroads is a Corner, the black dog/Hellhound-themed story I wrote for Apex Magazine’s Hallowe’en Steal the Spotlight contest, is now available to read for free online.

It appears in Apex Magazine issue 66 (November 2014), along with the other four Steal the Spotlight winners and Apex’s usual slate of short fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Here’s the full table of contents:
